2022 Genesis GV70 — vibration under acceleration but not while coasting

ProjectCollector493Community StarterApr 3, 20262022 Genesis GV70 3.5TCharlotte
This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. The car is smooth at the same road speed when I lift off, but under moderate acceleration I can feel a vibration through the floor. What would you inspect first to separate axle/driveline issues from an engine mount?

If it were in my driveway, if a shop can't duplicate it on the 2022 Genesis GV70, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Did the worksheet show tax yet? I'd rather be boring and correct. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

Ask what changed right before it started. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2022 Genesis GV70, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Was this after sitting overnight? I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Log the conditions before you spend. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2022 Genesis GV70 and see if the fault moves. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “vibration under acceleration but not while coasting,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Just my two cents from doing this recently. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2022 Genesis GV70, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Save the big job until that test fails. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

Same neighborhood, different next step: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2022 Genesis GV70, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Save the big job until that test fails. This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2022 Genesis GV70 does it — then decide on parts. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Any freeze-frame data saved? I'd rather pay for diagnosis than a second guess-repair.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2022 Genesis GV70 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Save the big job until that test fails. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
