2022 Tesla Model 3 — infotainment became glitchy after an OTA update

2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range, about 81,500 miles. After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2022 Tesla Model 3, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money. On “infotainment became glitchy after an ota update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2022 Tesla Model 3 in Chicago with 81,500 miles. Any freeze-frame data saved? This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

OP update: scanned the 2022 Tesla Model 3 again and still only have the one pending code, no new lights. Heat soak after errands is the other window.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2022 Tesla Model 3 so service can see what you saw. Then you'll know the next fork. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. Only after sitting overnight so far.

Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2022 Tesla Model 3 charge sessions. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2022 Tesla Model 3 in Chicago with 81,500 miles. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.
