2022 Tesla Model 3 — windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter?

2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range, about 52,000 miles. A new windshield is installed and there is no dash warning, but the shop recommends camera calibration. If the manufacturer procedure calls for it, would you do it even when lane-assist functions appear normal? I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

It did windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Try a second charger before blaming the 2022 Tesla Model 3 — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. Then you'll know the next fork. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'll update if anything new shows up.

OP update: scanned the 2022 Tesla Model 3 again and still only have the one pending code, no new lights. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2022 Tesla Model 3 — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. Then you'll know the next fork. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 2022 Tesla Model 3 first. That's my plan before I call anyone.
