2023 Audi S5 — buyer sends a vehicle-history website I have never heard of

Someone interested in my car insists I buy a report from a specific unfamiliar website before they will meet. Is this a common scam pattern and what information should I avoid entering? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. Two 2023 Audi S5 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

Yes, with one caveat: Ask for out-the-door on the 2023 Audi S5 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. If they balk, that's your answer. This is from a 2023 Audi S5 in Philadelphia. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Sleeping on the number either way.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. In Philadelphia, insurance quotes flipped a 2023 Audi S5 comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.
