2023 Audi S5 Sportback — question: Who is actually discounting below MSRP in this region?

2023 Audi S5 Sportback, about 1,200 miles. Inventory looks better but dealer quotes still vary a lot. I'm not looking to name-and-shame anyone—just trying to get a sense of whether people are seeing real discounts locally before I drive two hours. I'm in Texas. Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

If I were shopping this, i would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 Audi S5 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Stop there until you know. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. A written buyer’s order on the 2023 Audi S5 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I'd push back a little: I would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 Audi S5 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Stop there until you know. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
