2023 BMW M340i — going one inch smaller for winter wheels

This is a climate question as much as a tire question. In Seattle, dedicated winters on the 2023 BMW M340i paid off more than I expected on ice, even on plowed roads. I'd do that before spending real money. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Only after sitting overnight so far.
