2023 Ford Bronco — catalyst efficiency code but car drives normally

A catalyst efficiency code came back after clearing once. The car drives normally and there are no misfire codes. Before condemning the catalytic converter, what sensor/data checks are worth doing?

Ask what changed right before it started. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Ford Bronco catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. That's the whole play. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Quick add on that: If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Ford Bronco, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “catalyst efficiency code but car drives normally,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2023 Ford Bronco and see if the fault moves. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.
