2023 Ford Bronco — two nearly identical cars are priced $4k apart

Same year, trim and similar mileage, but two listings are thousands apart. One is CPO and one is not. How would you quantify condition, warranty, history and dealer reputation?

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. A written buyer’s order on the 2023 Ford Bronco is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. On “two nearly identical cars are priced $4k,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2023 Ford Bronco in North Jersey. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Asking because it changes the advice: I would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 Ford Bronco and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2023 Ford Bronco in North Jersey. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

Quick add on that: A written buyer’s order on the 2023 Ford Bronco is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2023 Ford Bronco in North Jersey. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 Ford Bronco and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. Any freeze-frame data saved? I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Not convinced that's the whole story. If one piece looks too good on the 2023 Ford Bronco, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2023 Ford Bronco in North Jersey. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Ask for out-the-door on the 2023 Ford Bronco with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

OP update: I got two written quotes on the 2023 Ford Bronco and the out-the-door gap is bigger than the ads made it look. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

If I were shopping this, in North Jersey, insurance quotes flipped a 2023 Ford Bronco comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. I'll update if anything new shows up.
