2023 GMC Sierra 1500 — is this actually a good used-car deal?

The online price looks competitive, but I am trying to judge the entire deal rather than the headline number. What should I compare besides mileage, history, condition and a PPI before deciding what it is worth?

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

I'd push back a little: I would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

Yes, with one caveat: Call your insurer in Connecticut before you fall in love with the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “is this actually a good used-car deal,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Quick add on that: GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 in Connecticut. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

If I were shopping this, if they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Not wiring anything in the meantime.
