2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 — fast charging tapers earlier than it used to

2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited, about 31,000 miles. On comparable road trips the charge rate now starts tapering sooner. I am trying to separate charger sharing, battery temperature, software changes and actual battery health. I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Asking because it changes the advice: Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. This is from a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 in Atlanta with 31,000 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Log the conditions before you spend. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is losing coolant with no puddle. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “fast charging tapers earlier than it used,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
