2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited — driver-assistance camera needs calibration after windshield

2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited, about 96,000 miles. New windshield is in and shop says the camera needs calibration. Car drives fine and no warning is showing. Would you still do the calibration immediately, and does static vs dynamic calibration matter? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. On “driver-assistance camera needs calibration after windshield,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. I'd do that before spending real money. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 so service can see what you saw. Then you'll know the next fork. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

I went back under the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. I already checked the easy fluid levels.
