Ask what changed right before it started. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2023 Subaru Outback and see if the fault moves. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Just my two cents from doing this recently. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Subaru Outback catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. This is from a 2023 Subaru Outback in Boston with 48,500 miles. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. Only after sitting overnight so far.

Yes, with one caveat: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2023 Subaru Outback, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Save the big job until that test fails. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. I keep a notes app thread for this now.

Agree — and I'd add this: A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2023 Subaru Outback is losing coolant with no puddle. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “my model year is in a recall,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2023 Subaru Outback in Boston with 48,500 miles. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Start with the test that can prove you wrong. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2023 Subaru Outback is losing coolant with no puddle. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Any freeze-frame data saved? I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. I'll update if anything new shows up.
