Small damage was noticed after the handoff photos were reviewed. For hosts, what inspection/photo workflow actually makes claims easier without turning every pickup into a 30-minute process? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Yes, with one caveat: On the 2023 Subaru Outback in Central Florida, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “anyone else: rental-platform car came back with,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2023 Subaru Outback, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2023 Subaru Outback in Central Florida. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2023 Subaru Outback before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Do that first. I'll update if anything new shows up.
