2023 Subaru Outback Wilderness — need advice: Inside shoulder wearing much faster than rest of tire

MileageGarage39Community StarterDec 24, 20252023 Subaru Outback WildernessBoston / New England
Front tires look fine from the outside but the inner shoulders are nearly done. Car is lowered a little. I'd rather fix the alignment than just keep buying tires—what measurements should I ask the shop for besides toe? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2023 Subaru Outback, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Following up on need advice: inside shoulder wearing much faster: still happening, but I have better notes now. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2023 Subaru Outback in Boston / New England, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “need advice: inside shoulder wearing much faster,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Did the worksheet show tax yet? I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I'd push back a little: If it still isn't clear on the 2023 Subaru Outback, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2023 Subaru Outback owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Useful. I'll report back after I verify that on my 2023 Subaru Outback. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
