2024 BMW i4 — 0 percent promo versus a cash rebate

TowCommuterCommunity StarterMay 26, 20262024 BMW i4 eDrive40Orlando
2024 BMW i4 eDrive40, about 37,500 miles. Manufacturer offers promotional financing or a cash incentive. What is the right way to calculate which one is worth more over my expected payoff period?

I'd slow the salesperson down here. Two 2024 BMW i4 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2024 BMW i4 in Orlando with 37,500 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 BMW i4 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. Do that first. I'd rather be boring and correct. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Quick update: a second 2024 BMW i4 quote made the first offer look ordinary. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 BMW i4 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Any freeze-frame data saved? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
