2024 BMW i4 — conservative tune feels great — what should I log? — Las Vegas owner question

I do not want to judge a tune only by how fast the car feels. Which parameters are worth logging periodically if the goal is catching fuel, knock, boost or temperature problems early?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 BMW i4 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Yes, with one caveat: On the 2024 BMW i4 in Las Vegas, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “conservative tune feels great — what should,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 BMW i4 before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Asking because it changes the advice: If it still isn't clear on the 2024 BMW i4, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork.
