2024 BMW i4 — tires or pads first for a beginner autocross season?

Budget allows one meaningful upgrade. Current street tires are decent and brakes are standard replacements. Which upgrade helps a new driver learn more before adding other parts? I would rather test this logically than replace parts. What would you check next?

If it were in my driveway, if a shop can't duplicate it on the 2024 BMW i4, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Do that first. I'd rather be boring and correct. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

It did tires or pads first for a beginner twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.

Log the conditions before you spend. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2024 BMW i4, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “tires or pads first for a beginner,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
