2024 Buick Envision — windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter?

2024 Buick Envision Avenir, about 34,500 miles. A new windshield is installed and there is no dash warning, but the shop recommends camera calibration. If the manufacturer procedure calls for it, would you do it even when lane-assist functions appear normal?

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Buick Envision before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2024 Buick Envision in Houston with 34,500 miles. Any freeze-frame data saved? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
