2024 Chevrolet Corvette — dealer APR is higher than my credit-union preapproval

2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51, about 23,500 miles. I have a preapproval in hand and the dealer offered a higher rate. Is there any reason to let them try to beat it, and how should I compare lender fees or incentives instead of only APR? I am in Phoenix. I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money. What would you check next?

Private-party deals fail on paperwork, not vibes. Meet at a bank or dealer title office for the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette, not a parking lot at night. That's where I'd start. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette (23,500 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. Sleeping on the number either way.

Don't get cute with the meetup or the payment. Meet at a bank or dealer title office for the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette, not a parking lot at night. Then you'll know the next fork. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.
