2024 Ford F-150 Lariat 3.5 EcoBoost — car hesitates once, then drives normally

TireWeekend92Community StarterJul 1, 20262024 Ford F-150 Lariat 3.5 EcoBoostDenver / Front Range
Every few days I get a brief hesitation pulling away from a stop. It feels like the engine cuts power for half a second and then everything is normal. No stored light on the dash. Wondering what live data would be worth logging. Any data points from owners would help.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Move a coil or plug on the 2024 Ford F-150 if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Stop there until you know. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Checking again after work.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 2024 Ford F-150 first. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Asking because it changes the advice: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2024 Ford F-150, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Stop there until you know. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Not convinced that's the whole story. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2024 Ford F-150, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. Save the big job until that test fails. That's the whole play. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Yes, with one caveat: Capture voltage while the 2024 Ford F-150 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Save the big job until that test fails. Stop there until you know. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Capture voltage while the 2024 Ford F-150 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Stop there until you know. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
