2024 Ford Mustang — 120k one-owner car versus 70k with thin history

FlatSixDetailer35Community StarterJun 25, 20262024 Ford Mustang GTCharlotte
2024 Ford Mustang GT, about 21,000 miles. The higher-mileage car has detailed records and consistent ownership; the lower-mileage example has sparse history. If both inspect well, how much weight do you put on maintenance history versus odometer?

If I were shopping this, if they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Ford Mustang price probably got worse. Then the comparison gets honest. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Ford Mustang so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. Do that before you talk monthly again. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I asked about 120k one-owner car versus 70k with thin again and they still won't put GAP/add-ons on their own lines. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

Quick add on that: GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Ford Mustang numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

Coming back with numbers — insurance in Charlotte changed the 2024 Ford Mustang comparison more than the sale price did. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Ford Mustang with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. If they balk, that's your answer. On “120k one-owner car versus 70k with thin,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “120k one-owner car versus 70k with thin,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Ford Mustang price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2024 Ford Mustang in Charlotte with 21,000 miles. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Ford Mustang, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. In Charlotte, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Ford Mustang comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. I'd slow the salesperson down here. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Ford Mustang and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.
