2024 Jeep Gladiator — factory order status has not moved in weeks — buyer question from Charlotte

2024 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, about 18,000 miles. Dealer gave me an order/reference number but the status has been unchanged for weeks. For people who have ordered cars, what updates are meaningful versus normal waiting between milestones? Mostly looking for the right next step.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. In Charlotte, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Jeep Gladiator comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Quick add on that: Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. If they balk, that's your answer. On “factory order status has not moved in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the sequence I'd use. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Coming back with numbers — insurance in Charlotte changed the 2024 Jeep Gladiator comparison more than the sale price did. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

If I were shopping this, two 2024 Jeep Gladiator quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Then the comparison gets honest. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

Yes, with one caveat: A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. This is from a 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Charlotte with 18,000 miles. That's the sequence I'd use. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Call your insurer in Charlotte before you fall in love with the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Charlotte with 18,000 miles. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

I would not stare at the monthly. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Do that first. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

OP update: I got two written quotes on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator and the out-the-door gap is bigger than the ads made it look. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. Two 2024 Jeep Gladiator quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.
