2024 Jeep Gladiator — going one inch smaller for winter wheels

CleanBuyer879Community StarterJan 29, 20262024 Jeep Gladiator MojavePhiladelphia
I want smaller winter wheels for more sidewall. Overall tire diameter can stay close, but I am worried about caliper and spoke clearance. What measurements should be checked before ordering? I am in Philadelphia. Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Salt and cold mornings punish cheap shortcuts. If Philadelphia only sees a few real storms, a good all-weather on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator can be the saner daily. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Philadelphia. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.

I'd push back a little: Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. Then you'll know the next fork. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Make the next action something you can finish this week. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

This is a climate question as much as a tire question. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Philadelphia. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Salt and cold mornings punish cheap shortcuts. In Philadelphia, dedicated winters on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator paid off more than I expected on ice, even on plowed roads. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Philadelphia. That's the sequence I'd use. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

I'd pick the setup I'll actually live with in slush. If Philadelphia only sees a few real storms, a good all-weather on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator can be the saner daily. Then you'll know the next fork. When does it actually happen? Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Useful. I'll report back after I verify that on my 2024 Jeep Gladiator. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

On “going one inch smaller for winter wheels,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Any freeze-frame data saved? I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.

Same neighborhood, different next step: Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. That's where I'd start. On “going one inch smaller for winter wheels,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. Checking again after work.

No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

Following up on going one inch smaller for winter wheels: still happening, but I have better notes now. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. That's where I'd start. That's the whole play. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
