2024 Jeep Gladiator — should I tell the dealer I am paying cash up front?

2024 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, about 40,000 miles. I do not need financing, but I keep hearing conflicting advice about when to mention that. I mostly want a clean transaction. Does payment method really change how you should negotiate vehicle price?

I would not stare at the monthly. In Bay Area, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Jeep Gladiator comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “should i tell the dealer i am,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Not convinced that's the whole story. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Bay Area with 40,000 miles. No need to make it theatrical. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
