2024 Jeep Gladiator — should I tell the dealer I am paying cash up front? — Pennsylvania owner question

DailyEnthusiast399Community StarterAug 23, 20262024 Jeep Gladiator MojavePennsylvania
2024 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, about 24,000 miles. I do not need financing, but I keep hearing conflicting advice about when to mention that. I mostly want a clean transaction. Does payment method really change how you should negotiate vehicle price? I am in Pennsylvania.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Call your insurer in Pennsylvania before you fall in love with the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. Do that before you talk monthly again. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.

I'd push back a little: If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Call your insurer in Pennsylvania before you fall in love with the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “should i tell the dealer i am,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.
