2024 Jeep Gladiator — winch size and recovery points before accessories — buyer question from Miami

CityCamper695Community StarterMay 28, 20262024 Jeep Gladiator MojaveMiami
2024 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, about 22,000 miles. I am building a basic recovery setup and would rather get the fundamentals right than collect gear. How do you size a winch and evaluate factory versus aftermarket recovery points?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Jeep Gladiator owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Miami with 22,000 miles. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Quick add on that: On the 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Miami, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “winch size and recovery points before accessories,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Any freeze-frame data saved? Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Jeep Gladiator in Miami, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “winch size and recovery points before accessories,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Was this after sitting overnight? Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Following up on winch size and recovery points before accessories: still happening, but I have better notes now. If the story changes I'll post the new data.
