2024 Polestar 2 — blower works on some speeds but not others

2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, about 28,500 miles. Cabin fan works normally on certain settings and then cuts out or changes speed unpredictably on others. Before replacing the blower motor, what should be checked in the resistor/controller circuit? If I figure it out I will update the thread. I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Two 2024 Polestar 2s can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. Save the big job until that test fails. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. I'd rather pay for diagnosis than a second guess-repair.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Move a coil or plug on the 2024 Polestar 2 if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. This is from a 2024 Polestar 2 in Florida with 28,500 miles. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.

If it were in my driveway, write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2024 Polestar 2 does it — then decide on parts. Save the big job until that test fails. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

Ask what changed right before it started. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2024 Polestar 2 is losing coolant with no puddle. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Make the next action something you can finish this week. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.
