2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor — question: Low-voltage battery warning after software update

BoxerCommuter63Community StarterMar 18, 20262024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual MotorPhiladelphia
2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, about 1,200 miles. A software update finished overnight and this morning I got a low-voltage battery warning. Main battery is charged. Before scheduling service, is there anything safe to check in the app/service menu? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Polestar 2 price probably got worse. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2024 Polestar 2 in Philadelphia with 1,200 miles. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Polestar 2 numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

I would not stare at the monthly. In Philadelphia, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Polestar 2 comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

OP here. Still looking, but I'm waiting on inspection notes before I send money on the 2024 Polestar 2. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Call your insurer in Philadelphia before you fall in love with the 2024 Polestar 2. Do that before you talk monthly again. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

OP update: I got two written quotes on the 2024 Polestar 2 and the out-the-door gap is bigger than the ads made it look. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Polestar 2 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. Any freeze-frame data saved? Sleeping on the number either way.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Call your insurer in Philadelphia before you fall in love with the 2024 Polestar 2. If they balk, that's your answer. On “question: low-voltage battery warning after software update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Just my two cents from doing this recently. I screenshotted the quote for later.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Polestar 2 price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

Yes, with one caveat: GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Polestar 2 numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Sleeping on the number either way.

If I were shopping this, two 2024 Polestar 2 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Then the comparison gets honest. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Polestar 2, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. That's the whole play. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Call your insurer in Philadelphia before you fall in love with the 2024 Polestar 2. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “question: low-voltage battery warning after software update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Stop there until you know. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Polestar 2 price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Call your insurer in Philadelphia before you fall in love with the 2024 Polestar 2. If they balk, that's your answer. Do that first. I'd rather be boring and correct. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Polestar 2 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Polestar 2 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “question: low-voltage battery warning after software update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Stop there until you know. I screenshotted the quote for later.

Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.
