2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor — would you pay more for documentation than lower mileage?

2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, about 96,000 miles. Comparing two older enthusiast cars: one has lower mileage but thin history, the other has higher mileage with years of invoices and owner notes. Assuming both inspect well, how much value do you put on records? Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Polestar 2 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. This is from a 2024 Polestar 2 in Ohio with 96,000 miles. Just my two cents from doing this recently. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. Sleeping on the number either way.

Yes, with one caveat: Call your insurer in Ohio before you fall in love with the 2024 Polestar 2. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “would you pay more for documentation than,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I screenshotted the quote for later.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. Two 2024 Polestar 2 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

PPI is scheduled. I'm not depositing until I see the 2024 Polestar 2 notes. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Polestar 2 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “would you pay more for documentation than,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. That's my plan before I call anyone.

If I were shopping this, in Ohio, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Polestar 2 comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Polestar 2 price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
