2024 Ram 1500 — windshield replacement created a highway whistle

CamberFanCommunity StarterNov 22, 20252024 Ram 1500 LimitedMiami
A windshield was replaced and now there is a whistle around highway speed that did not exist before. Glass looks seated. Any simple way to locate the air leak before taking it back? I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2024 Ram 1500 and see if the fault moves. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Do that first. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Ask what changed right before it started. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2024 Ram 1500, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

It did windshield replacement created a highway whistle twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2024 Ram 1500, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “windshield replacement created a highway whistle,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Ram 1500 in Miami. That's the whole play. I keep a notes app thread for this now.
