2024 Rivian R1S Dual-Motor — anyone else: Low-voltage battery warning after software update

A software update finished overnight and this morning I got a low-voltage battery warning. Main battery is charged. Before scheduling service, is there anything safe to check in the app/service menu?

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Rivian R1S with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “motor — anyone else: low-voltage battery warning,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Rivian R1S in NYC / Long Island. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I screenshotted the quote for later.

Asking because it changes the advice: I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Rivian R1S and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. Two 2024 Rivian R1S quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Rivian R1S numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
