2024 Rivian R1S — rear tires are disappearing faster than expected

BoxerHunter130Community StarterJun 12, 20262024 Rivian R1S Dual-MotorColumbus
The car is aligned and pressures are correct, but rear tire life is much shorter than my previous gas cars. Has rotation strategy, tire choice or driving style made the biggest difference? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Move a coil or plug on the 2024 Rivian R1S if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. No need to make it theatrical. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2024 Rivian R1S does it — then decide on parts. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. On “rear tires are disappearing faster than expected,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2024 Rivian R1S catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'll poke at it this weekend.
