2024 Subaru WRX Premium — anyone else: Engine swap packaging: offset versus driveline angle

Mocking up an engine/transmission in a chassis with very tight steering and footwell clearance. I can offset it slightly, but I don't want to create driveline vibration. What measurements should be locked down before making mounts? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop. What am I missing?

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Subaru WRX before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Subaru WRX owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Subaru WRX, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
