2024 Subaru WRX — steering wheel shakes only under highway braking

2024 Subaru WRX Premium, about 35,000 miles. Cruising is smooth, but braking from highway speed makes the steering wheel shake. Pads still have material. Would you start with rotor runout/thickness variation, hub condition or suspension bushings? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Ask what changed right before it started. Two 2024 Subaru WRXs can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. This is from a 2024 Subaru WRX in Bay Area with 35,000 miles. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 2024 Subaru WRX first. I keep a notes app thread for this now.
