2024 Subaru WRX — windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter?

This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. 2024 Subaru WRX Premium, about 32,500 miles. A new windshield is installed and there is no dash warning, but the shop recommends camera calibration. If the manufacturer procedure calls for it, would you do it even when lane-assist functions appear normal?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Subaru WRX, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Did the worksheet show tax yet? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

This is from a 2024 Subaru WRX in Connecticut with 32,500 miles. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Asking because it changes the advice: Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Subaru WRX before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Subaru WRX owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
