2024 Tesla Model Y — how are owners measuring real battery degradation? — trying to narrow this down

2024 Tesla Model Y Long Range, about 20,000 miles. Displayed range moves too much with weather and recent driving to be a useful health metric by itself. What repeatable measurements do you trust for tracking battery degradation over time?

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2024 Tesla Model Y, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money. On “how are owners measuring real battery degradation?,” that was the fork that mattered for me. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2024 Tesla Model Y so service can see what you saw. Then you'll know the next fork. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2024 Tesla Model Y charge sessions. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2024 Tesla Model Y in Queens with 20,000 miles. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.
