2024 Tesla Model Y — windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter? — trying to narrow this down

2024 Tesla Model Y Long Range, about 41,500 miles. A new windshield is installed and there is no dash warning, but the shop recommends camera calibration. If the manufacturer procedure calls for it, would you do it even when lane-assist functions appear normal?

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2024 Tesla Model Y charge sessions. That's where I'd start. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2024 Tesla Model Y, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money. On “windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter?,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Heat soak after errands is the other window.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2024 Tesla Model Y — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. That's where I'd start. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 2024 Tesla Model Y first. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
