2025 Honda Civic — 0 percent promo versus a cash rebate

2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid, about 28,500 miles. Manufacturer offers promotional financing or a cash incentive. What is the right way to calculate which one is worth more over my expected payoff period? Mostly looking for the right next step.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Ask for out-the-door on the 2025 Honda Civic with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “0 percent promo versus a cash rebate,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2025 Honda Civic in New York with 28,500 miles. That's the sequence I'd use. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. Two 2025 Honda Civic quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
