2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited — new pads squeal more than the old ones

TrackDaily71Community StarterAug 5, 20262025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid LimitedSeattle
2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited, about 78,000 miles. I replaced pads and rotors and now the brakes squeal at low speed even though stopping performance is good. Hardware was cleaned and lubricated. Is some noise normal during bedding or should I pull everything apart again? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

If I were shopping this, i would not wire money until I've seen the 2025 Hyundai Tucson and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

If I were shopping this, if they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson price probably got worse. Then the comparison gets honest. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2025 Hyundai Tucson numbers without them. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. In Seattle, insurance quotes flipped a 2025 Hyundai Tucson comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. Any freeze-frame data saved? I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. Ask for out-the-door on the 2025 Hyundai Tucson with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “new pads squeal more than the old,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Ask for out-the-door on the 2025 Hyundai Tucson with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “new pads squeal more than the old,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.
