New-model numbers always look better than curb weight and tire size. If this is a 2027 reveal, I wouldn't map it onto today's 2025 Lucid Air ownership costs yet. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2025 Lucid Air in Central Jersey with 22,000 miles. Did the worksheet show tax yet? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd wait for the actual TSB/recall population, not the headline. Check whether your 2025 Lucid Air VIN is actually in the affected batch before you plan a dealer day. I'd do that before spending real money. On “how should a forum discuss a breaking,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the sequence I'd use. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd push back a little: On a 2025 Lucid Air, I'd care more about the remedy and downtime than the press wording. I'd do that before spending real money. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'll update if anything new shows up.

Quick add on that: If this is a 2027 reveal, I wouldn't map it onto today's 2025 Lucid Air ownership costs yet. That's where I'd start. Do that first. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
