New model reveal: what matters beyond the headline specs?

2024 BMW i4 eDrive40, about 151,000 miles. A new model just dropped and the headline numbers look good, but I'm more interested in curb weight, wheel/tire sizes, real rear-seat room, charging/fueling, repairability and what features are locked behind packages. I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2024 BMW i4, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. That's where I'd start. On “what matters beyond the headline specs,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Only after sitting overnight so far.

Tried a second charger / second scan and the story on the 2024 BMW i4 didn't change. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2024 BMW i4 so service can see what you saw. Then you'll know the next fork. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
