2025 Lucid Air Pure — need advice: A/C is cold while driving, warm at stoplights

A/C gets properly cold on the highway but becomes noticeably warmer at long lights. It cools down again almost immediately once the car is moving. Could this still be a refrigerant issue or does that point more toward airflow/fans? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2025 Lucid Air does it — then decide on parts. Save the big job until that test fails. On “need advice: a/c is cold while driving,,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. Only after sitting overnight so far.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2025 Lucid Air, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2025 Lucid Air, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. This is from a 2025 Lucid Air in Nationwide. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Heat soak after errands is the other window.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Two 2025 Lucid Airs can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. Save the big job until that test fails. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2025 Lucid Air catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Agree — and I'd add this: Capture voltage while the 2025 Lucid Air is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. On “need advice: a/c is cold while driving,,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2025 Lucid Air in Nationwide. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. Only after sitting overnight so far.
