2025 Porsche Macan Electric 4S — eV tires wearing much faster than expected

NewCarNerdCommunity StarterApr 13, 20262025 Porsche Macan Electric 4STexas
Rear tires are wearing noticeably faster than I expected even though alignment is supposedly okay. I know weight and torque don't help. Has anyone improved life with rotations, pressure changes, or a different tire without killing efficiency? I'm in Texas.

I went back under the 2025 Porsche Macan and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. I keep a notes app thread for this now.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2025 Porsche Macan — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. That's where I'd start. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Not driving it hard until I know more.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Try a second charger before blaming the 2025 Porsche Macan — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. I'd do that before spending real money. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'd rather pay for diagnosis than a second guess-repair.

This is from a 2025 Porsche Macan in Texas. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2025 Porsche Macan so service can see what you saw. I'd do that before spending real money. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2025 Porsche Macan charge sessions. I'd do that before spending real money. When does it actually happen? That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2025 Porsche Macan, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. On “ev tires wearing much faster than expected,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2025 Porsche Macan in Texas. When does it actually happen? If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I'd rather pay for diagnosis than a second guess-repair.

Update: the cheap test changed the symptom, so I'm not throwing parts yet. I already checked the easy fluid levels.
