2025 Porsche Macan Electric 4S — low-voltage battery warning after software update

CanyonFan50Community StarterJul 22, 20262025 Porsche Macan Electric 4SPhoenix
2025 Porsche Macan Electric 4S, about 8,200 miles. A software update finished overnight and this morning I got a low-voltage battery warning. Main battery is charged. Before scheduling service, is there anything safe to check in the app/service menu? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2025 Porsche Macan, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money. On “low-voltage battery warning after software update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. I keep a notes app thread for this now.

If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2025 Porsche Macan — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. I'd do that before spending real money. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

Asking because it changes the advice: Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2025 Porsche Macan charge sessions. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2025 Porsche Macan in Phoenix with 8,200 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2025 Porsche Macan so service can see what you saw. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. On the 2025 Porsche Macan, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money. On “low-voltage battery warning after software update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. Leave the alerts on the 2025 Porsche Macan so service can see what you saw. That's where I'd start. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'd rather be boring and correct. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

It did low-voltage battery warning after software update twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Try a second charger before blaming the 2025 Porsche Macan — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. Then you'll know the next fork. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2025 Porsche Macan charge sessions. I'd do that before spending real money. Agree — and I'd add this: On the 2025 Porsche Macan, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. I went back under the 2025 Porsche Macan and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. I'll poke at it this weekend.

Fair point. Counterpoint: Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2025 Porsche Macan charge sessions. That's where I'd start. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
