2025 Porsche Macan Electric 4S — question: CPO luxury SUV or brand-new mainstream SUV?

Budget works for either a lightly used luxury SUV or a new mainstream model with a full warranty. I'm more worried about three-to-five-year ownership cost and service downtime than the purchase price. How would you compare them? I'm in California. I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2025 Porsche Macan so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “question: cpo luxury suv or brand-new mainstream,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

If I were shopping this, if they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2025 Porsche Macan price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. Two 2025 Porsche Macan quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Then the comparison gets honest. Any freeze-frame data saved? That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.
