Anyone else: Low-voltage battery warning after software update

ShiftCollector47Community StarterMay 15, 20262024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual MotorPortland
2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, about 62,000 miles. A software update finished overnight and this morning I got a low-voltage battery warning. Main battery is charged. Before scheduling service, is there anything safe to check in the app/service menu? Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. In Portland, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Polestar 2 comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2024 Polestar 2 in Portland with 62,000 miles. That's the whole play. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Polestar 2 numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. Stop there until you know. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Polestar 2, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Stop there until you know. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Polestar 2 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “low-voltage battery warning after software update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Polestar 2 in Portland with 62,000 miles. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

Update from me: I finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines for the 2024 Polestar 2. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. In Portland, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Polestar 2 comparison for me more than the sale price did. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Polestar 2 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Do that first. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I'd push back a little: I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Polestar 2 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Stop there until you know. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

I would not stare at the monthly. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Polestar 2, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. Stop there until you know. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

On “low-voltage battery warning after software update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the whole play. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I screenshotted the quote for later.
