Best road-trip car you have actually owned

TorqueTravelerCommunity StarterMar 23, 20262024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual MotorSacramento
2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, about 4,800 miles. Not asking for magazine picks. Which car you've personally owned was best for long-distance driving once you factor seats, range, noise, cargo, driver assists and fatigue? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Polestar 2, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. That's the whole play. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Agree — and I'd add this: Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Polestar 2 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “trip car you have actually owned,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Polestar 2 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. Did the worksheet show tax yet? If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Polestar 2 price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Any freeze-frame data saved? If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.
