CPO luxury SUV or brand-new mainstream SUV?

2020 Audi Q7 55 TFSI, about 22,000 miles. Budget works for either a lightly used luxury SUV or a new mainstream model with a full warranty. I'm more worried about three-to-five-year ownership cost and service downtime than the purchase price. How would you compare them? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Update from me: I finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines for the 2020 Audi Q7. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Agree — and I'd add this: GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2020 Audi Q7 numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. On “new mainstream suv,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.

I would not stare at the monthly. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2020 Audi Q7 price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
