Dealer says they can't reproduce the problem

TowCommuter12Community StarterAug 16, 20262007 Porsche Cayman SCharlotte
I've brought the car in twice for an intermittent warning and both times the dealer says no fault found. I have video and timestamps. What's the best way to document this so there's a useful service history if it gets worse? Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2007 Porsche Cayman, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2007 Porsche Cayman in Charlotte, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “dealer says they can't reproduce the problem,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Monthly payment math is how wallets disappear. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
