Model Y low-voltage warning before a road trip

WrenchRunnerCommunity StarterMay 28, 20262024 Tesla Model Y Long RangeNationwide
2024 Tesla Model Y Long Range, about 4,800 miles. Low-voltage battery warning appeared and I have a trip coming up. Main pack is fine. I don't want to get stranded over the small battery—what would you consider a no-drive warning versus something safe to take straight to service? Ambient temp was about 92°F when I noticed it.

I would not stare at the monthly. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Tesla Model Y, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. In Nationwide, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Tesla Model Y comparison for me more than the sale price did. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Tesla Model Y is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Tesla Model Y is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “voltage warning before a road trip,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Tesla Model Y in Nationwide with 4,800 miles. Do that first. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.

If I were shopping this, i would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Tesla Model Y and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

PPI is scheduled. I'm not depositing until I see the 2024 Tesla Model Y notes. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.
